No problem. It is a little confusing. I can upload from this comment box, but when I tried to upload your files I had to go to the forum tab and start a discussion. Whatever works is the name of the game.

Thanks for helping me with this. Here's the URL for an interesting blog on the subject of integrating humanities and sciences. The Binghamton Humanities and Sciences Teaching Initiative document, a successful NEH proposal, was linked but it seems as though the discussion has moved on. I have that document as a PDF file if you'd like me to e-mail it to you. Is there a way, using NING, to upload documents as linked files from my local computer?

you should be able to add any attachment by clicking on the icon that looks a sheet of paper. A little window comes up and you can browse for the file you want to upload. Hopefully this will work for you.

Dan,
That's what I thought. Am I correct then in assuming that June 16 at 10AM is more or less when this discussion will commence?

Hi Phil,

Well, it's not like we're actually going to "meet" in the physical sense. This will be an on-line, a-synchronous discussion. I am going to form groups for each book and add the interested members into the groups. We'll then use the ning for the discussion.
