I am an Associate Professor and Dean of the NYIT School of Education. Prior to accepting the role of dean, I was the Director of NYIT's Center for Teaching and Learning with Technology and taught technology courses in the M.S. in Instructional Technology program. My major research interests involve the use of emerging technologies in teaching and learning, especially related to online courses.
I enjoy camping, scuba diving and motorcycle touring. You will see me occasionally riding around campus on my Honda Goldwing Trike.
Also, I just got a "postcard" announcement about next year's conference's for the AACU. In early April 09 in San Diego, the conference title is "Defining the Professoriarrate for hte 21st Century. I've been doing some thiking. Perhaps we could propose a presentation for that one as sort of an outgrowth of our Consortium.
Thanks Mike. I'm going to send a few more e-mails out and I'll also mention it at the CAS chair's meeting today. Some of the faculty were suddenly intrigued by outcomes assessment after they listened to the Middle States Exit presentation.

Anna left me the question below. Is this possible?
"Dan,
I would like to keep files on this server. Is this possible? I only see an option to save a photo or video. Anna "
